OUR FOCUS/CRITERIA
We look for strong teams and validated opportunities, with complementary skills, product-market fit, proof of concept, traction, organized financials, and a credible exit strategy capable of producing venture returns.
Our industry focus is broad, with current expertise across healthcare, sports and entertainment, technology, big data, cybersecurity, government contracting, education, manufacturing, finance, digital marketing, consumer products, and retail.
Our investments typically range from $100,000 to $500,000, supported by our members and syndicate partners. We also work with other angel groups across Florida to co-invest in promising opportunities.
Our members bring deep operating experience, including former CEOs, entrepreneurs, physicians, attorneys, educators, engineers, and technologists who understand the challenges of building and scaling companies firsthand.
OUR PROCESS
Start by submitting your pitch, using the application link and reviewing the provided cheat sheet before completing the screening form. All required information and documents should be included for consideration.
Your application is reviewed by the screening committee, which determines whether you move forward in the process.
Selected applicants join a pre-screening call, typically via Zoom. Those advancing further may then pitch to the full membership at a monthly meeting, either virtually or in person.
Companies moving forward may enter due diligence, working with the Executive Committee and members to provide supporting information as requested.
