OUR FOCUS/CRITERIA
We look for innovative ideas driven by seasoned teams with complementary skill sets, product/service-market fit, proof of concept and traction in the form of revenue, research and/or a current or prospective deal pipeline, realistic and organized financials/business model and a sound exit strategy leading towards venture returns.
While our industry focus remains broad, our current subject matter expertise includes healthcare, sports/entertainment, technology, big data, cyber security, government contracting, education, manufacturing, finance, digital marketing, consumer products and retail.
Through our collection of members and syndicates, our investments range from $100,000 to $1,000,000. We work closely with other statewide angel investment groups and syndicate deals.
Our current members have prior experience as business executives, and many are former CEOs from global companies. Even better, the majority of our group are entrepreneurs who have started companies before and are familiar with the challenges and rewards. In addition, several of us are medical doctors, attorneys, educators, engineers, technologists – and most of us wear many hats at once so we know what you are going through.
OUR PROCESS
Applicants must click on the "Submit Your Pitch” link below to apply to Bridge Angel Investors. When you click on the link below it will download a screening form document. All applicable information should be filled out or your application may not be accepted and reviewed by the Bridge screening committee.
Once the screening form document is completed, please email directly to Terry Cox at tcox@bridgeangelinvestors.com.
If chosen by our screening committee, applicants will be contacted for a pre-screening call via Zoom. If chosen to continue, you will be asked to pitch to the general membership at the next monthly member meeting either via Zoom or in-person in Sarasota or other location as determined by Bridge.
Based on member feedback you may be asked to provide due diligence information. Applicants should plan to work with our Executive Committee and other members to support our due diligence process and submit information as needed.
